About Us

C. Scott Hardee was born in Wilmington, and grew up in Greenville, NC. He worked in Farming, Tobacco from 1985 – 1992. He then served 7 yrs in the USAF, stationed in NM, and NJ, attended UNCW from 2000 – 2004 obtaining a Bachelors and a Masters degree both in Accounting. From 2004-2006 he worked in Public Accounting doing tax work. He is married to Michele and father to Avery, and Jackson.

Hardees Grassworks Began in 2000 as a lawn maintenance only company. Since then, our company has added several different landscaping services in addition to traditional maintenance. As the services change so do our customers. We started out having 100% residential customers, as we have grown we have added more commercial customers.

Our Goal is to enhance real estate value through landscaping; whether it is regular lawn maintenance, or a full scale landscaping installation.

Who is our target Customer? If your time is worth more than $25 per hour and you think yard work is a chore, you are our target customer for lawn maintenance.
